SFS Announces New Principals
SFS Architecture has promoted three long-time associates of the firm to Principal: Kwame Smith, Kelly Edinger Stindt, and Brian Garvey. During their tenure with SFS, all three architects have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the firm, outstanding leadership, and exceptional design and project management abilities, among other notable contributions. In their own unique way, each one has made their mark on the firm.
Brian Garvey, AIA, LEED AP. Brian has championed the development of SFS’ technology infrastructure, best practices for project management, and the firm’s own design/fabrication studio, all the while collaborating with many communities and industry partners on landmark projects.
Kwame Smith, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. Kwame has mentored young staff, fostered a collaborative approach to design and construction, and embraced new opportunities in emerging and established markets for the firm.
Kelly Edinger Stindt, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. Kelly has helped to cultivate a dynamic workplace culture at SFS, established herself as a leading workplace strategist, and collaborated with scores of clients to create vibrant places for work, worship, and community.
The three new principals have played instrumental roles in the firm’s recent and unprecedented growth. “Over the last few years, we have more than doubled our staff as our work has grown in volume, size, and value. Brian, Kwame, and Kelly have helped us to navigate this growth while providing exceptional service and impactful design solutions for our clients,” said principal Kerry Newman.
“We are excited about our future and expect our new principals to continue to impact our firm and our community for many years to come,” said principal Marsha Hoffman.
