Renovation unifies, updates church sanctuary and chapel to enhance worship services

Create a church sanctuary and chapel renovation design that unifies the spaces visually and supports contemporary worship services.

Our designers worked with church leaders to understand the space configuration and technology needed to support and enhance current worship services, and to identify the desired aesthetic and environment desired for these sacred spaces.

The completed renovation achieved the goal of creating a more unified beauty built on the church’s Gothic style. The historic main sanctuary required new lighting, additional ornamentation, an expanded chancel and incorporation of A/V technology. Selection of new colors for the room and window frames highlighted the beauty of the original stained glass windows. The chapel renovation included an expanded chancel, addition of A/V technology, new chancel furnishings and new finishes. The chancel also was made wheelchair accessible by installing a lift concealed by new millwork.
