Master plan and phase 1 design for Stagecoach Park, home to the new Olathe Community Center
Create a master plan for a multi-use community park anchored by a new community center.
After winning a national design competition, the team of SFS, Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture and Confluence worked closely with the City of Olathe to create a multipurpose park and community center that supports a multitude of physical fitness, athletic, aquatic, lifestyle and outdoor recreation programs offered by the City.
Anchored by and connected to the Olathe Community Center, the master plan for Stagecoach Park provides for the build-out of a wide range of amenities, including natural prairie, open space, trails, flower and sculpture gardens, amphitheatre, outdoor classrooms, park shelters, playgrounds and observation tower, among other features.
