Harriet is a talented architect who often describes herself as a moderately entertaining maker of things. Her father was a carpenter in his early adult life, and his interest and ability to make things translated into her adult life as well. When she’s not walking her dog, exploring new restaurants and breweries in KC, educating her neighbors about recycling do’s and don’ts, or spending time with family, Harriet finds herself making all sorts of things. Her current maker-ness is focused on hand embroidery. In the past she has made furniture, welded, knit, sewn, and created other DIY projects.
