A massive overhaul of an underused building to become Blue Springs’ first indoor community recreation center

Based on the results of a feasibility study conducted by a SFS lead team, it was determined that purchasing and renovating an existing 76,000 square foot recreational space was the most economical way to provide much needed recreational amenities to the Blue Springs community.

The existing building received a massive overhaul and became Blue Springs’ first indoor community recreation center. Features include multi-activity courts, artificial turf soccer field, two walking tracks, fitness center, spinning and aerobics studio, locker rooms, conference room, multi-purpose rooms, indoor play area, child watch area, and recreation department offices.
