SFS staff members kicked off the holiday season with a lively event at the office for friends, clients and colleagues.  Each SFS staff member put together their own concoction (complete with creative descriptions) and battled for the “best chili” title. The event doubled as a coat/blanket drive to help support Project Warmth - a phenomenal organization that helps 100 agencies and shelters in the 8-county Metropolitan area make the winter months more bearable for those in need.

The Chili was warm, the beer was cold and we were surrounded by many wonderful friends, colleagues and clients. Together we collected nearly 100 coats, blankets, scarves, and sweaters to donate to support Project Warmth (www.projectwarmthkc.com).

And to those of you that were wondering…Mike Shaughnessy was the winner of the Chili Cook-off. He’s quite proud of his new title.
